Christopher Jen Kin, DDS, ABOI/ID
Dr. Chris Jen Kin graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2005. Though originally from Los Angeles, he now considers the Bay Area his home.
Dr. Jen Kin’s expertise in dental implants has led him to receive his Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID). There are currently less than 600 dentists in the world that hold this credential. Knowledge and judgment of advanced dental implant surgical and prosthetic principles must be demonstrated before a panel of Diplomates in order to pass this rigorous board examination.
Dr. Jen Kin was previously a dental instructor teaching fixed prosthodontics at the UOP School of Dentistry. Prosthodontics is the dental specialty relating to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and maintenance of patients with missing or deficient teeth and oral and maxillofacial (jaw and face) tissues.
Dr. Jen Kin also serves as the on-call dentist at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center with hospital privileges for the Emergency and Surgery departments.
And for a more relaxing experience for the dental phobic patient, he is also licensed to administer both IV and oral conscious sedation.
In his free time, Dr. Jen Kin likes to travel with his wife and children. His interests include rock climbing, Brazilian jiu jitsu, hiking, and photography.
